laureth (Happy birthday! We miss you!), I thought I'd share them here too for those interested.
Below are just a few of my pictures from around Detroit and Gary, Indiana. I hope you enjoy them. The small versions are about 600x400. The full size versions are about 1500 pixels on the long side, which is a reduction of about half from the full 9 megapixel images that my camera produces. I spent some of today doing more picture organizing and keywording. Once I'm done with that process, I'll have more motivation to go out and make more!
And if it really needs to be said, please ask permission before using these for anything. I'll most likely grant it, and even give you a higher resolution version!

Hmm. I really need to start posting pictures here more often. That's another thing I'll be more inclined to do once they're all organized.
On an unrelated note, it seems that I really like Canadian musicians. As I was looking for more information about the Cowboy Junkies (I've been listening to their Trinity Session album in the car), it occurred to me that a large number of musicians who I really like at least a song or two by hail from the frozen north. In addition to the Cowboy Junkies, I can think of Neil Young, K.D. Lang, Leonard Cohen, Rufus Wainwright, andJane Siberry Issa off the top of my head. I know my dad's a Bruce Cockburn fan, and I like what I've heard of him too, and it seems to me like there are more that I can't think of right now. Perhaps there's something in the water up there.
