serinthia, all by ourselves. Our manager is out this week. Our team lead is out this week. As she said, it's the Stormdog and Serinthia show, all this week! (Ok, she used our real names, but I'm employing artistic license here, ok?) So I spent a few hours catching up on the usual weekend backlog and Monday morning complaints, and I'm hoping to get to a point where I can actually make forward progress, if they would stop sending me more of these cursed new hires to enter into the system! Or people would stop locking themselves out of the system. Or people who are on maternity leave come in to the office anyway, complete with baby in tow, to have us look at a virus on their system. Whee.
I am being a piggy-puppy today. I ate two bagels with cream cheese (every other Monday is free bagel day). Usually that's enough for the whole day, spaced out at 11 and 3. Today, I jut had a Lean Cuisine Panini (everything that Lean Cuisine makes is really good!), and I'm still hungry!
Gah. And now it's time to leave already. I'll try and write more tonight. I was going to write more at lunch, but instead found myself in Google chat withrileybear67, which I'm not goin to complain about in the slightest! (Yes, I'm on Google chat through my gmail account, but please understand that I'm very selective about who I have on my list since I usually use it while I'm at work.) I'm also going to teach the raccoon how to solder, which skill will make her even hotter than she previously was. And let me tell you, that's pretty hot.
