stormdogYesterday arrived on a failboat with a full cargo of fail that foundered in in a failstorm on the lake before making it in to fail harbor.
Today will be better. I'm sure of it.
Among other things, I need to figure out how to get a warranty replacement on a Seagate hard drive that I ordered from a third party vendor a few months ago that died with about 200GB of various personal things on it including about 10,000 pictures I've taken. Fortunately, I have 95% of it backed up onto the old SCSI tower under the desk. I think.
When I get paid later this week, I'm going to get a second one and manually mirror them rather than rely on backups to a mish-mash of other storage devices. It's just too much to worry about not to.
I know I owe people some info. I'm sorry. I'll try to get it to you soon.
