stormdogOk; I want to start a nomic. I intend to create a new Livejournal community that I moderate to use as the official venue. I have three people who have so far expressed interest: myself, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
farm_cat, and akreaveter. I think that with as small a group as we'll probably have, we don't need a judge and we can vote on proposals and judgment calls ourselves.
Would anyone else be interested in being involved?
I still have some research to so to find an appropriate initial ruleset and a good theme. I like the way Fantasy Rules Committee does it, where rounds are winnable by some defined set of circumstances and the game then resets to a default ruleset.
What do you think?infintysquared, would you be interested? Are you online at least every couple of days to contribute?
(I was supposed to be doing useful things tonight and instead I spent the whole evening reading about things like happy and sad walruses and other nomic scams. In fact, I had to drive over to my parents house to tellfarm_cat about the emotional walruses because I found the concept so hysterical. [Incidentally, she asked me whether the happy ones had buckets and the sad ones did not. I love her.] I am not sorry.)
