moiracoon, polymorphism, and nekouken yesterday.
We saw the 2D version. I'd like to go see it again in 3D because I liked it so much. But I'm a little hesitant about experiencing those emotions again. Moira has offered to go with me again so I have a shoulder to cry on.
I love the movie so very much. There was a lot that could have easily been made more over the top and melodramatic, and it wasn't. It was very restrained and very honest. I had the sniffles a number of times.

But on an unrelated note, in regard to the preview for Disney's frog princess movie: we finally have a Disney princess who's black, and it looks like she's going to spend most of the movie being green? As Polymorphism would say, "What the crap?" (My own exclamation, as I leaned over to whisper in Moira's ear, was slightly more profane than that...) I mean, seriously; that just sucks. A lot.
