stormdogA company wide announcement went out from our PR lead via email to ask us all to vote on something or other at some news site.
But it didn't say that he needed to ask a request of us. No. He said "Here's the simple ask:" Not a simple request; a simple "ask". I spent a minute trying to figure out the thought process behind phrasing it that way, but didn't come up with anything good. And it's not just some mental slip either. Further down, he writes "...we're making this same ask of key partners..."
Why? Why? Why do you do this?
