boixboi was really nice. We once again spent a good number of hours just lazing around, talking, and taking the occasional trip down to the second floor to do laundry. Heh. We chatted late into the night, finally getting to sleep at something like 3:30 in the morning. I think. It's kinda funny; I head down to his apartment expecting we'll probably watch a movie or something and we end up just crashing on the futon and talking for hours, which is really very nice. As we talked about, you sometimes need to take a break from craziness, no matter how pressing that craziness may be. It was a very relaxing time and I feel better.
I got to talk to my raccoon when she called me during the night too. I had called her once on the way down, but she called me again anyway when the usual time rolled around, just to make contact and chat a little, and it was a very sweet and romantic thing which made me happy. *tailwags*
On the way home I stopped and looked at Buckingham Fountain for a few minutes, hurrying back to my car afterward to avoid a ticket, and stopped at the Salvation Army store in Kenosha where I bought a Flamenco CD for a dollar.
So I'm home again and must return to real life™, at least until this Friday when, one way or the other, I'll be seeing Andrea again. *contented sigh* I'm so lucky.
