moiracoon and mocha_mephooki bought me a copy of Hungry Hungry Hippos while they were out last night. I've talked a few times about how much I loved this game as a wee pup, so when they saw it, they tested the hippos and snagged it for me!
It's a different version than the one I remember. I don't remember the hippos having names. But it was very typically thoughtful and silly of them.

Also, you can see that my lens is soft in the lower left corner. I think it might be from when I dropped it in Washington. I have to do some thorough testing to make sure it's not happening across all my lenses. If not, I'll have to send it in to have the glass realigned, which is probably what the problem is. *sighs* At least I didn't lose the thing after all!
I'm getting my Cisco gear onto Ebay too. I have a 2500 router and something that I don't know what it is anymore because it came to me without the faceplate. I'll boot it up and terminal in and see what it is once the laptop with the serial port on it gets done wiping the hard drive it's doing now. But it's got a couple of four port serial interface modules in the back, which I think should be worth some money. And I haven't touched them in over a year. Time to go.

Why do I need to learn to speak Japanese? Because I can't work on other stuff while listening to animé in the background and have any idea what's going on it!
