Feb. 15th, 2010 12:16 pmWhy is this happening? Whenever my laptop is on its docking station, it acts like F12 is being continually pressed. I can tell this because it boots right into the BIOS setup, which F12 is the trigger for. When it's off the dock, it's just fine. It's not something with the keyboard hardware; I unplugged the USB keyboard, and entirely removed the integrated laptop keyboard and it still did it.
It's not the docking station; I swapped my dock with my coworker (Who still hasn't shown up or, as far as I know, contacted anybody to explain why!), and his does the same thing.
Argh. This is keeping me from working with the web-based ticket tracking system. As soon as I click a drop down arrow, the menu disappears. Argh. Rebooting is not effective. I can only guess there's something physically wrong with the docking station connector on the laptop.
I'm going to heat up lunch. That sounds good.
