I have a fairly substantial TEAC reel-to-reel recording deck that I don't have a use for. I think it needs a part because, if I recall, the last time I used it, one of the rubber rollers that the tape goes around kept slipping off of it's spindle. Other than that, it seems to be in good working shape, though I have to admit that I haven't used it in at least six or seven years.

I'm kind of looking to sell it, but I don't know much about reel to reel decks in general. Can anyone point me to a group that might want to buy it, or any other good resources about them?

I've also been putting off getting rid of my Commodore hardware. It's been at least as long since I've used that stuff, but it's hard to get rid of something I grew up with and have such happy memories of.

I should note that both of the aforementioned items are at my parents' house and, if I'm going to store things like a drum kit or a forge and anvil there, I'd better get rid of the other pile of stuff I have there first! I don't even know what all kinds of outdated computer hardware I have stockpiled in the old coal room in their basement, or under the eaves of the roof behind the walls of the upstairs rooms.

I do know that I have a complete and functional 486 machine in my own basement that I used to use for playing Ultima 7 and other DOS games before we had things like DOSbox. Does anyone want it?

Moira and I are about to take another car load of stuff over to the apartment. I'm taking all the boxes and things I've already packed to make room to pack more boxes. Ah, space; if only you could hold more than one thing at a time.
