My company merged with company X two years ago. Today, I found out that my company has bought back most of the stock and is separating. Except that we are merging with company Y, which now owns the aspects of company X that relate to the primary business my company does. So we have to sort of split the companies apart again, at the same time we're merging with another company, and there appears to be overlap between what we're splitting from and what we're keeping. Our manager doesn't really know how/if this will affect us, and whether we're going to end up merging with company Y's help desk or when.
So love this company.

Oh hell no. It was just pointed out in our meeting that company X owns our call tracking system. Which means that we may have to move to another new call tracking system. *shakes head* Well, at least it would be hard to move to something worse than we have now.
