*sighs* I'd really like to go to the MFF picnic/softball game this year, but it's on the 17th. That is, of course, the same day that a friend who is usually a couple thousand miles plus an ocean away is having a party while he's in the states. I'm going to go to his party since I've missed the last few opportunities to see him. But I just want to express frustration that everything happens at the same time.

Secondly, having put over five hundred miles (I'll have to look at my little booklet in the glove box and see the exact number) on my new little car, I think that the wheel bearing situation is probably alright. I think I'm going to go ahead and request that week off and take the Michigan trip I want to take. I'll figure out the exact week and notify the appropriate folks via email as plans form more fully.

Michigan people; if you see this and and want to get together, please let me know. I'm already in touch with my brother in Lansing and red_ceilidh. I emailed a few people, but sometimes I think my email doesn't work right. I hate computers.

I need to get the hell away from everything for a while; I think it'll be good for me!
