I'm not really sure about that. Alocohol and cigarettes are recreational items, sure. But people who are on foodstamps need recreation just like everyone else. Being poor does not make someone become a robot. Addiction is a problem, and if that's all they're spending money on, that's a problem too. But budgeting a little money, responsibly, for something that relaxes you is a privilege that I think everyone should have. I suspect alcohol and cigarettes are singled out here because of the societal image of addiction, and I don't think that's fair. What do you think?

I have a ticket for work that I'm trying to avoid dealing with because I know it's going to be atrocious and I just don't want to have to call people on work on computer problems. *sighs*
