stormdogIt's good to have started moving some books to my living space. Even though I don't really have any bookshelves as such.
It's weird to be living without a dog, and without a lot of books around. But the latter is much more easily addressed, and I now have a big bag of books waiting to be sorted onto closet shelves.
Popular science books like Richard Morris' 'Achilles in the Quantum Universe'. Photography books like 'How to Photograph People' and 'Erotique Digitale'. My illustrated copy of Peter Beagle's 'The Last Unicorn'. My copy of 'The Complete Dictionary of Symbols'. My Japanese Dictionary. The monograph my great-grandfather wrote on concrete construction (which I can find listed in citations when looking in Google, but I can't find the actual text of or a link to a description of). And even a couple things like my copy of 'A Hundred Strokes of the Brush Before Bed' and 'Only the Ring Finger Knows'.
My little treasures are coming back to me.
