I called Parkside again today. My application has been located, and they now need an official transcript from New Horizons in Michigan. It seems I need to call them and have them send one. I tried today, but did not get through to anyone. I'll call again tomorrow.
I haven't done any Christmas shopping, but then the people who I'd want to buy things for aren't sticklers on timing anyway. Still, I need to check with family members and friends and see what would be good for them. Christmas isn't a big deal to me in a religious sense; I like the excuse to buy gifty things for people and see them smile.
Work was typically disorganized today. My weekly team meeting was cancelled so that we could all attend a training session on the new ticket tracking system we have to be using in two weeks (which is two weeks before I get laid off). Then, ten minutes before the training meeting, it was cancelled as well. SNAFU.
I've found a couple random things I need to look into. A book of photography of Storyville, the 'red light district' of turn of the century New Orleans, by a local photgrapher. A book I heard about on NPR called The Moral Underground: How Ordinary Americans Subvert an Unfair Economy. They both sound really interesting. As is the book I borrowed from Danae's housemates called "How to Lie with Maps".
I'm feeling like it's time to get out and do some more photography of Chicago. I do have things I can be working on in the apartment, like picture editing and studying Japanese. But my brain is telling me to get out and see some of the city in winter. I really need to get around to listing some stuff on Ebay so I can get money to buy a 50mm 1.8 lens for street photography. It's a really cheap lens, and my previous copy was awesome until it broke, and I'd like one for some shots this season. I also really need to get a little money together and send my 10-22 in for sevicing; I think it's been a little bit off ever since I dropped it in Washington DC.
I'm planning a trip to Mitsuwa this Friday after work with

Hmm. I feel like there's more to say, but I don't recall what. Well, I'm sure you'll hear all about it eventually.
