stormdogI realized that this is probably too long and ought have the magic of the LJ-CUT applied to it.
My domains hosted through fdns.net seem to finally be working mostly correctly again. For a few days, ever since deleting two old host entrys and creating two new ones, all three of the domains I'm administering (stormdog.fdns.net, nicetail.fdns.net, and velvetvineyard.fdns.net) have been intermittantly failing to resolve. In fact, stormdog was intermittantly resolving to my old IP address, the one in Wisconsin. After waiting a while to see if it was a bad cache that would take care of itself, I tried a few things, exchanged mail with the guy running fdns ("One of our servers is being moved, but everything seems to be resolving correctly"), and still couldn't get them to work properly.
Finally, I deleted all of the host entrys, waited 12 hours, reinstalled Windows 2000 on my server, then logged in and recreated them. Things seem to be mostly working correctly now (hopefully I can finally do e-bay picture hosting again), though I'm still having mail delivery oddities going on. *shrug* If anyone wants to send me a message at stupidmail1@stormdog.fdns.net (that's a test adress), that would be cool.
Tomorrow I have to send money to whoever is collecting the bill for my attendance at UW-Parkside a few years ago, drop by the staffing agency to pick up info for my new job, jury-rig my car (didn't get to it today), and finally look into getting car insurance since my plates will be expired by a day. *sigh* I know I should have taken care of that earlier.

wooisme and I sorted through all of her shoes and matched them up, a process which was actually kind of fun, if rather lengthy. Then we took more e-bay pictures. I'm going to be writing copy for all the geek type stuff we're posting like the Johnny Astro toy and the Atari system with loads of games (with original docs) we're selling.
I've been getting back into juggling recently too. I've been sitting out in the living room throwing things around and causing noises that are, I imagine, probably rather unsettling for my dear one who is usually sitting in the computer room on the 'net while I do this.
*bang-clunk* "What was that?" "It's ok!"
I've been building up my 3 ball box, tidying my four ball patterns, and coming reasonably close to a 5 ball cascade. Go me.
