stormdogS'funny. I never used to be the type to keep in touch by phone. I used to be literally quite frightened of using the device. But tonight, as I called three people who are important to me and who I want to keep in touch with, I really enjoyed talking to the two of them I managed to get a hold of.
And beyond that, I found myself thinking that it would be nice to talk to a few more people too if it wasn't quite so late and I wasn't quite so tired. Maybe it's just momentary, but I'm finding myself thinking with some enjoyment about the prospect of calling people more often. I just wanted to take a moment and document that strange brain shift.
So, the person I'm staying with here, who I met on couch-surfing, turns out to be a furry and an anarchist. There is not much of an alt community up here, so I'm trying to sell him on coming down to visit Chicago during MFF. He and I have had a ton of stuff to talk about, some of it more than a little surprising. I'm having an awesome time up here.
I need to get to bed to try and be up early enough for some really good light tomorrow morning. G'night!
