stormdogThough we had planned to head out to Casa de los Furry for the new year's party tonight, said plan seems to have been abandoned due to my mate being nasty-sick with the flu and not being able to keep anything down. Tonight will probably be a quiet, sit around and watch a movie night. boixboi a ride over there because he had decided to do that instead of having his own party... *sigh* Oh dear. I feel rather bad about that. I'm sorry Benjie.
Hmm, I just realized that when I took a shower a few minutes ago, I forgot to wash the conditioner out of my hair. Hold on a sec....
Ok, that's better. That was strange. I'm not usually that forgetful. Today hasn't been good. I forgot my cell-phone at work too...
Anyway, my dear one is in bed, having definitely decided that she's not up to going to the party, and I've just spent two hours playing DDR on the playstation I brought home after Christmas. It was a gift from basically my entire extended family and I greatly appreciate it. I did the whole loop; I hit every song on the disc, and then did every song I unlocked while doing so. I haven't had good exercise like that in a while and I feel really great! Except that my throat is a little sore. I wonder if I'm catching what Andrea has. I had a cough today too. At least I don't work until Monday.
Well, I'm going to be around tonight I guess. Maybe I'll write more later about the craziness that's kept my parents and brothers (and Lara) from visiting this weekend as we'd all planned to. There's a story...

Talked to Benjie; I haven't made him miss the party. He's having his own! I feel better about that. *smile*
