(Yesterday)
*woofs* I got my tareja de Español done. I just got all of my assigned readings and due dates for my classes into Google Calendar. (The scheduling of my finals might be a little nicer to me, but that's the way it is.) I have nothing pressing for tomorrow, so I'm going to play games with Timothy Raymond Allen
Estoy un poco nervioso. ¡Pero, yo pienso yo lo puedo!
========
I have most of the countries of Southeast Asia and their capitals in my head. But there are a couple I have trouble with. Your capital city is named Bandar Seri Begawan? Couldn't there be a nice short abbreviation, like El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles del Río de Porciúncula has?
(I have a test, comprising 10% of my class grade, on this for my Southeast Asia class tomorrow.)
I just read an excerpt from Andrew Carnegie's "The Gospel of Wealth". I have issues with him on some things, but his thoughts on the wealthy having great obligation to use their excesses, in their own lifetimes, for the good of the poor are really interesting.
