stormdogWe're back home! I will write more about Capricon later. (I think.) At the moment I just want to go collapse in bed with my mate.
Our drive home was one of those times I wish would last forever. We talked off and on for a while, switching off drivers, and then there was a long stretch of road through Michigan where I drove while she slept, my hand on her thigh, hers on mine as I sung to her, and somehow I felt like, at the same time as I was piloting our little metal box along I-94, that through that touch I was holding her in my arms... It was a complex feeling and I'm very tired. It was just a really nice ride and a really nice weekend and I feel good.
