I had a wonderful time this past weekend with
danaeris. Amongst lots of of good time spent working side-by-side on school projects, there was family, board gaming, and yummy food. It made me really happy.
Today, I had to jump my car to get him started. (Did I mention that my anthropomorphized conception of my car is male?) I have a chunk of time between classes today, so I figured I'd go out and get the battery tested and buy a new one. It's an old battery that originally came out of a Neon I once owned.
The guy at the shop (after I complimented him on his necklace with Norse runes; he seemed impressed that I knew what they were) told me that battery is from December of '09, and is still testing good. It's also not quite as powerful as the battery that's supposed to be in the car, which kind of boggles me given that the Neon's engine was almost twice as big and the car had more electronics. But I'm going to see if I can find something that's draining the battery that shouldn't be. I wish I still had my ammeter; anyone have one they want to lend me?
And until my class at 2 followed by work, I'm going to do more writing and research for my history class today. As well as do reading for said class, and clean out my car.
