stormdogMy betrothed (I can say that now!) and I watched ghost world a few nights ago and, apart from it being a really good movie, I got really pulled in by Seymore's love of old music and old records. Tonight, inspired by the movie, I broke the shrink wrap on my sweetie's Louis Armstrong box set and put a CD in. Why didn't I ever listen to that sort of stuff before? It's really good.
Then, I walked into geekland, looked her in the eye, took her hands, and pulled her out into the living room where we danced to Satchmo's jazz. I have this amazing grin on my face thinking about it.
This has been such a wonderful day altogether! I came home from work to find my star already home, waiting for me. This afternoon and evening we've spent some wonderful time together. We've puttered around the house, done ebay, she made me a wonderful dinner... Were a dog able to, I'd curl up and purr.
