The first group on stage at the Ginza Festival today was the Ho Etsu Taiko Group.

Taiko drumming makes for a very picturesque performance. I had a hard time cutting my photos down to the 18 I posted on Flickr.

I picked some because of the performer's wonderful expression.

Others because of the palpable positive energy and emotion.





And some just because the poses made a really appealing tableau.





Both the sights and sounds of the whole performance were wonderfully memorable.
