I got to school and changed. I went back out to put my bike clothes into my panniers, and the snow was coming down. Good timing!
I've decided that I'm not going to post my picture-a-day shots to Flickr, except the occasional one here and there. I'm going to keep taking them because I like the project and I want to continue it for the foreseeable future. But on Flickr, I'm going to post all the other stuff I was posting before the self-portrait project began. Maybe I can do a few tonight.
I started reading Dandelion Wine last night. The author's intro about Waukegan and being young was an insight into nostalgic perception of youth. I wish I'd read it fifteen years ago so I could compare my reactions. Digging into the book, I realized just how long it's been since I've read creative, meandering prose full of asides and clauses and vividly-painted word-pictures.
