Phone Memory(ies)

stormdogMy phone's memory for incoming text messages is full so I have to keep deleting text messages to receive new ones. One by one, I've been deleting other sets of messages until all I have left are the ones from Danae and Lisa. I ordered a memory card for the phone a little while ago in the hope that I could manage to keep under the limit until it arrived.
Now that it's here though, it doesn't give me any extra space for texts. It's nice to be able to get photos and videos on to it, but my text message storage is still "over 99% full."
Because I am a sentimental dork, I ws thinking of sitting down and tying out all of my text messages tonight. I don't think I will end up doing so; instead, I will just delete them all, because the majority of them are just ephemera like asking Danae to see if I left my tablet charger at her place, or notes on when one of us should expect the other. They're mostly silly, sometimes cute, little nothings. But I like these little nothings. I wish there was an easier way to keep them than spending hours typing them up.
There are a few things that make me really happy, like Danae's note that she's cleaning out space in her closet so there's room for my things over the summer. There are a particular few messages from Lisa that make me smile too, but I just looked through and it seems they're not on this phone anyway; that must have been on my last one. I suppose I feel a little better about wiping what's on there at least!
