stormdogI managed to pick up a song I occasionally made my way through on the keyboard years ago much faster than I expected. In fact, I kind of feel like I'm translating printed noted to keys better than I ever have before. (Which is really not saying a lot.) Something to be said for unconscious learning? I'm having better luck with the keyboard than with the guitar, which I feel very clumsy at.
There are a couple pieces I've always wanted to learn to play on the piano. A few of them, 'cause I'm a geek, are from computer or console RPGs, especially Ultima and Final Fantasy. This is one that isn't. I'm not sure I'll ever manage to get through something so complex. But this is a contender for my most loved piece of music, and this is a wonderful recording of it. I want to share before I go to bed.
