As much as I love going to school, it feels so good to know that I'm just coming home tonight...

Celebrated my first day with actual marketable job skills by cleaning up geekland last night and then treating myself to about an hour and a half playing Final Fantasy XI with my parents. This is an impressive game. I think I could get quite absorbed in it. Beautiful, rich, complex, and a lot of it requires real though. Good stuff. Do any of my readers play? I think I've seen you mention it a few times,

The raccoon girl is going to see the doctor today about her nasty chest cold/pneumonia that isn't going away. Send some good energy her way my friends.

In other news, I joined three geek/IT type communites last night that I found while poking around for useful things,

certification, and

showmeyourrack. Ok, so showmeyourrack isn't so much useful as just fun to look at (get your mind out of the gutter now), but I stuck it in the list 'cause it's in the same vein(sp?).
