Getting Sick Again, Bicycling Mirror
Feb. 6th, 2014 11:24 pmI seem to possibly be coming down sick again. Something totally different; no nausea. Instead, mild sore throat and lots of sneezing and sniffles. If I'm feeling bad tomorrow morning, I may drive instead of biking. We'll see.
Oof. I feel progressively icky as the night goes on.
I have to go to school tomorrow regardless. It's the first meeting to talk about the upcoming trip to Chiapas.
I had an awesome time with friends at Red Robin tonight. Thanks for coming out! I think I'm going to reserve Thursdays, at least most of them, for doing social things. It's good to ensure I do that once in a while. It's important to me.

I haven't posted a picture of a nifty new device I got for my bike. This mirror mounts on my glasses and lets me see the whole road behind me with a slight turn of my head.
It's been a real help bicycling in snowy conditions. I ride down the most heavily trafficked portion of the street where the pavement is most clear, and I can see if there are cars behind me so I can, if necessary, move over a bit and let them pass. Though often there's enough room for them to pass around me, in which case it's also nice to keep myself apprised of when to expect to be overtaken.
