New Saddle on the Way
Jul. 23rd, 2014 11:36 amLast night I went ahead and ordered a noseless saddle for my bike. It was pricy, but I'm tired of wondering whether five hours a week of being on a bicycle is damaging the anatomy that rests on it. A Nexride standard model is on the way. There only seems to be one cheaper option out there, but cheaper is not necessarily a good way to go. I still feel that I don't have any solid data about which of the many shapes works best, but the Nexride is the only one that seems to be targeted toward people who are more 'sporty' riders, or who ride in a more aggressive or aerodynamic posture. I'm a bit skeptical of this thing for several reasons, but the 30-day money back guarantee makes it worthwhile to try.
I’m a little bit annoyed by the scowling, scantily-clad woman inexplicably lying on a slab of concrete next to her bike at the top of theeir FAQ page. Did she just crash her bike? Or maybe she looks so grumpy because she’s got most of an exposed upper chest pressed up against cold, hard stone! But there’s a bunch of info there about the product if you're interested in reading up on it.
