Republic Wireless

I'm thinking really hard about going with a plan from Republic Wireless. There's a $10 per month plan that includes unlimited voice, and a $25 per month plan with unlimited data. They lower their costs by setting their phones up to use wifi for voice and data whenever possible, which makes sense to me. That would eliminate the lack of reception I have at school and inside the house too. The catch is that I'd need to shell out $150 for a Moto G smart phone. I'm leery of spending that much on a cell phone, but it would be really nice to have an Android device again. They also allow you to change plans up to twice per billing cycle, so if I'm going on a road trip where I need GPS, I can turn on data for a while.

This is appealing.
