How freaking awesome is the internet? Seriously. Reading a paper on urbanization of streams, I came upon the phrase "catchment drainage density." What's that exactly? Google took right to some lecture notes for an engineering hydrology class at San Diego State University that provides a bunch of useful definitions.

The availability of knowledge in the modern age is just fantastic. Sometimes I have to stop for a moment to marvel at it.
