A Good Day.

stormdogA day spent in my own space, in front of a computer, in gentle light, getting work done, and giving my stereo a workout for the first time in a long time has been really good for me. This is a good day.
My grandfather gave me a set of loudspeakers years ago. They're mid-range Fishers I think; a three-way set with 14" woofers with dual bass reflex ports. They don't have horn tweeters or adjustable crossovers or anything fancy like that. But I'm running them through a vintage Marantz 2220 that Mike Woods fixed up for me and a seven band equalizer that I picked up at an estate sale to replace one I lost in a move. I'm going to miss these a lot if I don't have room to take them with me on my move. Regular computer speakers give me a headache after a while.
I've had to turn the music down now that folks are home, but at the moment I'm listening to this:
