Holy crap. I think I'm getting somewhere with this LIDAR data! *bounces*

This is rough at best. I think that the highly developed nature of the area makes it difficult to do accurate flow modeling. But a lot of this fits well with in-person observations and historical data! The part that I know extends slightly west of Green Bay Road is included, for instance, despite that road being the western boundary for most of the watershed.
I think this is usable for my AAG presentation, as long as I point out its limitations. If I had time, I'd read best practices literature on modeling urban watersheds. There's that "time" word again....
I'm having another restful day today; this one in Evanston at Danae's place where I'm working away on my stuff while she's on campus at Northwestern working on hers. I've completed a GIS lab, this watershed modeling for my poster, and figuring out problems with my student loan balance. Next up is writing more of my history mid-term and working on my senior seminar portfolio.
This evening, Danae and I are going out for fondue!
And my parents should be leaving, along with a family friend who's sharing driving duties, very soon for New Orleans and Texas to visit my dad's very ill half-sister. I wish them a safe journey.
