Jul. 6th, 2018 07:37 amA bonus to working in a medical library: I now know that our brains are surrounded by a structure whose name translates to "tough mother."
A downside to working in a medical library: I was lying in the grass with a dog yesterday looking up at the clouds and it occurred to me that the wispy threads of white look a lot like the arachnoid mater that surrounds the brain just *under* the tough mother (dura mater). Directly related; I must live with the knowledge that our brains are surrounded by a structure called the "spider mother."
