New Glasses!
Feb. 21st, 2024 03:30 pmI don't have any pictures with the new piercing because I don't seem to be happy with my face right now. But hey, I got new glasses earlier this month and I really like them!

Mar. 1st, 2019 08:30 amI forgot; my new glasses arrived yesterday! I was worried that UPS wouldn't leave them without someone to pick them up, but as I got back from the vet the first time, the truck was sitting in front of my building.
Though it's a small prescription change the difference in experience is large; definitely worthwhile. Now I'm working at being really good about only cleaning with a microfiber cloth to preserve the coating and avoid scratches as long as possible.

I got an eye exam on Sunday. My prescription has changed, but the change is at the quantum level; the smallest possible prescription increment. Is that enough to have caused my headaches? I dunno. It may also be that my glasses have accumulated enough surface abrasions and scratches that optical quality is affected.
For the curious:
OD: -3.75, -.75, 15
OS: -3.5, -1, 150
I have a new pair coming from Zenni in 7-10 days, so I'll evaluate after that. Hopefully my head doesn't hurt too much in the meantime.
The doctor also said that my close vision is good for now, but I will likely need bifocals in the next year or two. I think I may prefer a separate pair of reading glasses, but we'll see when the time comes.
