Walking Along Lodi

stormdogThe three-quarter-mile walk to the Rite Aid leads me past a medium-sized park and cemetery, as well as a corner store with a name in Arabic script. Maybe I can get Turkish delight there! The Rite-Aid is on the same corner as a Dollar General, a Family Dollar, and a Burger King. It's double dollar corner! Regrettably, the two former were already closed, 'cause I could use an extension cord for this fan!
The neighborhood seems to be partly Spanish speaking. It's dark, and there were a lot of people out on porches or walking around. I'll have to walk or bike through it during the day and see what kind of impression I get. But as far as distance, that's not so bad. I'm looking forward to doing a lot of walking and biking here.
