stormdogThe man I bought the giraffe uni from said it was a factor in his meeting his wife! They met on Match.com, where her profile said she was a unicyclist and trampoline artist. Apparently, he found that pretty interesting. I would too!
The giraffe is a vintage Schwinn model, in great shape and a lovely piece of gear. $25 was absolutely a steal; in a unicycle.com forum post a few years ago, one person said that even $125 would be a steal. I'm really looking forward to learning to ride it.
While I was waiting for the text with the address from the seller, I got my little uni out and practiced a bit. I fell right off the first time, but by the fifth attempt I got most of the way down the driveway. I even made the turn onto the street and went a few houses down on one run. It's been a year or so, but it comes back quickly.
