It was February of 2003 that I created my LJ account after starting to blog on a site I hosted myself. It was originally an attempt to make friends because I didn't have any. It turned into a really useful record of my life so far.

16 years now.

I started on LJ in 2007 and on here on an invite code when they were first setting up not so very long after.

I'm glad I listened to my friend fivecats (he doesn't post any more) and joined LJ. It has helped me in ways I'm not sure I've truly related.

BTW, I and Debbie are both glad to count you as a friend.
