The Owners of the House are Pretty Nifty!

stormdogSo, the house we're looking at offering on? Turns out the owners are awesome, and queer/queer adjacent. We even have a mutual Facebook friend with one of them. They seem really cool!
How weird/awkward would it be to contact them directly and tell them that?
If it was me, I would probably think it was awesome, but I'm not always a good judge of this kind of thing. As of this afternoon, there is another offer on the place, and I guess I hope that if our offer is comparable to, or even a little better than, the other, that maybe they'd be more willing to deal with our offer being contingent on financing?
I don't know. As I write it out, I feel like maybe it's a bad idea. If we do end up buying, and I don't contact them before then, I definitely want to contact them after because we have a lot in common!
