Today's mostly irrational fears so far:
We got me added to Miriam's insurance, and looking at the section about life insurance led to some tears on the couch as I worried about her dying.
My bike was supposed to be ready "in a week." I dropped it off on Monday last week and haven't heard, and now I'm having sudden fear that they decided that the bike was stolen because of the spray paint and police report and turned it over to the police instead of fixing it for me. I texted for an update. (I did tell the person I talked to the story when I dropped it off.)
-Update: It should be ready today!
That my ears not healing well means that I have some kind of serious chronic health condition. (This is probably the most irrational one.)
That someone is going to break in to our condo and steal the valuables before we've moved in and have curtains up and are there most of the time. (I positioned the audio stuff in the front room so you can't really see unless you're sticking your face against the front windows and looking down, but the spare room has a bunch of boxes you could probably see more easily through the window on the side of the building.)
I wasn't always like this. I'm such a mess these days.
I haven't heard back from the admin at the therapy office who said, on Monday, she'd get back to us by the end of the week at the latest to let us know whether I'm a fit for the therapist I chose. (I'm also afraid they'll decide I'm too crazy and not accept me.)
Update - I heard back from the counseling office this morning and they will take me; I should schedule a consultation.
