I do like pigtails and similar styles. I'll probably give that a try sooner or later.
The front framing strands are a lot simpler than trying to get two tails into some semblance of symmetry! And often it's hard to motivate myself to spend a lot of time on my appearance when I never go anywhere anyway, so it's nice to have an easy option like this that I really like.
Me too. Or just for pigtails for that matter. I have a cheval mirror and a vanity with a mirror so I can see the back of my head while I work, and that helps a bit. But I also have some pain in my left upper arm if I try to keep my hand up there too long, so that makes it difficult to practice much.
