Nov. 10th, 2003 06:04 pmI've returned from Wisconsin with more electronic goodies. My server is finally set up here in the second bedroom aka the computer room aka geekland. It's nice to have physical access to it again, not to mention my 6 gigs of music and my movies. Had to leave my computer chair again due to lack of room, but that's ok.
The con and the weekend in general were odd. I'm going to refrain from writing much about it. Andrea and I got to see my parents and their friends Saturday night when we dropped by Bob Endre's for their weekly game. It was good to see them again, as well as the others we saw. Friends both from the Chicago area and Michigan were there. Life is pretty strange for a lot of them right now it seems.
As for Andrea and I, we're back home where we have to start dealing with the day-to-day tasks of living again. I have a job starting tomorrow involving Lionel trains and 12 hour shifts 'till the end of the week and possibly into next. Andrea is back to her job, for however long that needs to continue. I've had today to do little more than play with my computers and think. The more of life I experience, the more I realize that I am exactly where I want and neet to be. I need to learn that the universe gently unfolds as it should, at it's own pace, as long as you will be calm and let it...
