Sep. 19th, 2005 08:36 pmSure I'm far from the first on the proverbial block to have it (the literal block might be a different matter it would seem), but it still feels phenomenally cool. I'm posting this from over in my library where I have my laptop connected in to my wireless network via a 11Mb 802.11 PC card borrowed from work. I am far too excited about this.
Since my router has the 108Mb 'super' G capacity, once I have money I can even get a super G card for my downstairs (emulation/games/movies) computer and have a faster connection than I can even get with 100baseTX and not have to run any wires for it. Nifty!
Coming in the not-too-distant future (next Sunday A.D.?) will be my answers to the interest meme that's been going around. Though I generally try to avoid posting memes here, the interests it ended up choosing are some fantastic ones. In fact, I might almost have picked the same list myself had I been given the task. It will be fun to write a little about myself and my interests for those who are relatively new to my friends list...
