(no subject)

I just had corn dogs for lunch! That's cause I'm a grown up now and I can eat what I want to for lunch. I told Moira yesterday that I'd bought corn dogs at Aldi just 'cause I love them and wanted something different for lunch. "You're a corn dog!" she said in response.

I just put in for Friday the 14th of as a day off. I have seven days left to use this year and we were told by our manager last week that big blocks are probably out the rest of the year due to merger stuff, and that we should take some long weekends if we still have days left.

I already have Thursday, Friday, and Monday around Midwest Furfest, which I'm attending, as days off. The fourteenth will give me the Friday before Windycon, which I'm also attending, so that'll be nice to make sure I have everything together. And maybe even get some extra time with rileybear67, since she has that day off too! *bounce*

Oh; and did I mention the fourteenth is my birthday? *gigglebounce*

And this weekend, I'm hoping to take a little day-trip somewhere with Moira. Not sure where yet; depends on whether family is willing to dog sit during the day again. I'm going to ask them about that, as well as about possible dog/house sitting for the cons, when I go over to visit tonight.

And wow, did I have a wonderful time with my beautiful raccoon this past Saturday! I haven't written about it yet 'cause things have been hectic, but I plan to. Thank you so much for going with me sweetie! *hugs a 'coony* And on top of that, the chance to do something with her again this weekend? Yay!!!

That all even makes up for the the crazy amount of stuff I'm wading through at work.
