Dude. I just got a bonus. Like, a pretty big one. Damn.

I'm ordering that lens I want today.

Maybe all the continual worrying over whether I'm closing enough tickets to look good is working.

In other financial news, I'm going to my bank on Saturday morning to ask about a secured credit card. Since I don't seem to have enough credit history to get an actual credit card from anybody, I guess I can start there. I was hoping the Aveo loan would help, but we all know how that went.... (Actually, I guess some of you don't. If you're interested, I'll write about it again, or find the old entry for you. It's darkly amusing.)

I think I'm going to order some checks too. There are a few things I need to use checks from the personal account to pay for (rather than the shared account that I already have checks for) and I never ordered any for my personal account originally.

And then I'm probably going off to look at my dream car! *laughs*

Oh, I almost forgot to say that the rest of my weekend is looking good too!

After Saturday morning stuff, I'm planning to go into Chicago for wandering and picture taking, possibly accompanied by some mixture of posicat, nova_wolf, and jimcyl.

And on Sunday, I have a trip to Dave and Buster's with rileybear67 and D, her husband. Yay!

Ooh! Last night was nice too! We went out to Sweet Tomatoes so I could buy my sweet tomato raccoon a birthday dinner, then went home where I gave her her present I found on Amazon for her a while ago. I think she liked it!

I'd forgotten how fascinated I was whenever I'd see a time-lapse photography movie in school, or on TV.

I say this because, in looking for reviews of the Canon 10-22, I found a link from someone who said 'Well here's a movie made with still images sho with the 10-22mm lens on my 40D.'

I have a copy of some video editing software from work. I may just think about learning to put something like that together.
