Today is the day of the Westboro Church protest at a high school in my town. I'm disappointed that I won't get to be there to photograph. If I know anyone who's going, stay cool and show love!

I'm eating cereal and deciding what to bring to school for lunch. My parents will drop me off around 7:30, then I'll find somewhere to nap for an hour and a half until work starts. Then maybe I can get a nap between that and my class at 2, 'cause I'm super tired.

Further updates from my dad:

The graft is still attached. the surgeon thinks it is not infected, but is not sure. My dad is going back to Milwaukee again on Wednesday to see how he's progressing with the steroid plus antibiotic. The surgeon expects there to be improvement in his vision by then.

More about the fabricated, murderous study that claimed that vaccines cause autism. (But how do you really feel, Storm?)

16 Years Ago, A Doctor Published A Study. It Was Completely Made Up, And It Made Us All Sicker.

This is wonderful.
It's a visualization of how slight individual bias, even bias in favor of a slightly diverse neighborhood over a completely homogeneous one, leads to residential segregation in the absence of other factors.
And beyond that, it shows how just a mild preference for diversity leads to extremely diverse neighborhoods. There are a lot of interactive bits in here; take a look!

Parable of the Polygons; the story of how harmless choices can make a harmful world.

Ok, back to my take-home final.
