16 Years Ago, A Doctor Published A Study. It Was Completely Made Up, And It Made Us All Sicker.
This is wonderful.
It's a visualization of how slight individual bias, even bias in favor of a slightly diverse neighborhood over a completely homogeneous one, leads to residential segregation in the absence of other factors.
And beyond that, it shows how just a mild preference for diversity leads to extremely diverse neighborhoods. There are a lot of interactive bits in here; take a look!
