Oct. 27th, 2018 07:18 amI got home yesterday feeling really good and ready to do a bunch of cleaning! I picked up Rufus' medicine from the shelter (he's on an anticonvulsant now), got home, and...kind of crashed. It's so frustrating when a bunch of little things all happen together and I can't seem to mentally get past them.
I lost my Fitbit somewhere, possibly on my way to the post office to mail a book. I realized that I'd left my own medicine at work so I'd have to go back the next day and get it, and though everything I need to set up my new phone had arrived, I kept getting an error message trying to activate it after several different attempts using info from the internet. I thought this new phone might not work on the service.
I realized that I was not going to be useful to anybody including myself and went to bed.
Not only did I find my Fitbit in the bedroom before sleep, but this morning I tried once again to activate my phone and, for no apparent reason, it worked. And I've decided to drive down to work for my meds and use the trip to bring home another surplus book cart from the library and maybe stop at Microcenter for some browsing and an SD card for my phone.
Long story short, whether your malfunctioning hardware is electronic or biological, try turning it off and back on again.
