stormdogLooks like I'm going to be staying in Chicago on the night of September 26th. There's a whole department IT meeting at our office down there. People from most of our branch offices are going to be there, from the Northeast to the Southeast to here in the Midwest. I could either commute down to Chicago two days in a row, or just take the company-offered hotel room. I think I'll take the room.
There's some unnamed 'evening activity' going on on Wednesday night, but maybe afterward I could go out and do some night photography down at Milennium Park, or just around downtown. It would be lots of fun to do some photographic people watching on the Magnificent Mile.
I have an appointment to get a tetanus shot for the scratch on my head I got in Gary this Sunday. I really ought to have one of those anyway, the places I go, but I've been putting it off 'cause I'm a wuss. I've heard they hurt a lot. I never used to be scared of shots when I was a little kid. Not sure why I am now. I've been leery of donating blood when the groups come to my office for the same reason. But, I'm going to go through with it tomorrow morning before work.

serinthia to take me there in the morning and make us both late. Assuming that's ok with my manager to begin with. He okayed me, but we'll see. The nurse did say that I reallyought to get the shot as soon as possible and asked if I could do it today; but there's no way I can get there by four.
