Nov. 13th, 2007 02:12 pmI found an 'executive marble run' desktop toy at Goodwill for four bucks. Score!!
As long as I can remember, I've loved watching things roll and flow. Marbles, water, gases, anything. I used to dig long trenches in the sand at the beach near my house in Mundelein and incessantly fill a bucket with water at the shore, walk to the top of my series of canals, and upturn the bucket into the channel, watching it all flow back down to the lake.
Marble roller coaster type things are just as interesting. This one's pretty small, but it'll be a welcome distraction whem I'm stuck on dull phone calls.
I also bought a bunch of frozen food at Aldi to use for lunch the rest of this week and next. I love that I can do that for about ten bucks there. I also bought a can of corn. I dunno; I figure I can put it in a bowl and microwave it, and I'm just kind of in the mood for corn.
